ABOUT
Genetic testing is a medical procedure that analyzes a person's DNA to identify changes or mutations in genes or chromosomes. These changes can provide information about a person's risk of developing certain genetic diseases, diagnose existing conditions, or determine if they are a carrier of a genetic disorder that can be passed on to their children.
Genetic testing typically involves collecting a sample of a person's DNA, such as blood, saliva, or tissue. The sample is then sent to a laboratory for analysis.
