Beyond Driving with Dignity

May 31, 2023 @ 6:00 am - 7:30 am EDT
Free
This virtual event is organized by the Centralina Area Agency on Aging.

Are you concerned about an older driver? Are you struggling with how to talk about it? If these concerns sound relatable, Beyond Driving with Dignity can help!

This facilitated self-assessment program for older drivers helps the driver and their families make an informed decision on whether driving is still a safe choice or if they need to consider other options for transportation. This one-on-one approach provides support and peace of mind as you navigate the emotional decision of driving retirement.

This webinar session will dive deep into the ins and outs of the program’s process and next steps families and older adults can take to ensure dignity and independence remains through this life-changing transition. Older adults, volunteers, aging advocates, caregivers and service providers who work with older adults are welcome to attend. Registration is FREE for attendees.
